I finally got an Icon!!!

@--}--     The Black Rose of Despair is laid before you Even though I'm not a graphic artist I finally got an Icon...all of my verry own.....not that I made it....a very generous and sweet Deviant, ~d1st0rt3d, made it for me.....I think it suits me and my style of poetry very well.....it's slightly abstract....but only the tiniest bit of imagination is necesscary to see white bones on a field of black....a slight patina of red stategically placed here and there...... I can't believe I'm so happy over a tiny little square of graphics.....but I am....guess it makes this place feel even more like home.... Posted another poem today.....Dancing

Finally Stopped Being Lazy!

@--}--     The Black Rose of Despair is laid before you Finally, today, I got my lazy butt in gear and reposted a sampling of the poems I had submitted some time ago to DA, but had deleted a few months ago after the banning fiasco....sigh....it was upsetting...but thankfully it's over.... Anyway....I haven't really writtten much new poetry in the last 8 or 9 months. Instead I've been concentrating on the two novels I hope to write with the next 1-2 years.....ones a sweeping fantasy concept that's likely to wind up a triology by the time I run through the plotlines, dialog, flavor text...etc.... The other is a story set in the near future..

@--}--     The Black Rose of Despair is laid before you I can't believe it....after deleteing all of my poetry because of being banned for someone else's crime.....and getting no response from DA moderators....I assumed they'd close my account.....now a month later I try to use my account just out of curiousities sake....and it looks like the ban has been lifted!!!! After all the heartache and stress this caused me...it looks like they took the ban off...and did exactly what I said they wouldn't do...make new rules against AOL.....amazing..... Well....I guess it couldn't hurt to repost my poetry....maybe I'll get some new comments on them
